Vintage original 27x41 in. US single-sided one-sheet poster from the classic 1980's vacation-themed comedy, NATIONAL LAMPOON'S EUROPEAN VACATION, released in 1985 by Warner Bros. and directed by Amy Heckerling. The Griswolds win a vacation to Europe on a game show, and thus pack their bags for the continent. They do their best to catch the flavor of Europe, but they just don't know how to be be good tourists. Besides, they have trouble taking holidays in countries where they CAN speak the language! The cast includes Chevy Chase, Beverly D'Angelo, Dana Hill, Jason Lively, John Astin, Sheila Kennedy, Paul Bartel, The artwork for this poster was designed by Boris Vallejo and features his signature to the left of Beverly D'Angelo's right knee. It is designed to mimic the style of the "Conan" posters featuring Arnold Schwarzenegger and other similar fantasy heroes. Unrestored and rolled as originally issued, this single-sided one-sheet poster it is in very fine- condition with light signs of random wear along portions of the edges and some small creases from handling over time. There are no pinholes, tears, stains, or other flaws and the rich color tints are fresh and vibrant without any signs of fading.
