Features:
Heirloom
Open Pollinated
American Grown Seeds
Annual
USDA Zone: All Zones
Description:
Introducing Zinnia 'Thumbelina', a delightful dwarf heirloom variety that adds a vibrant burst of color to your borders, pots, and containers. These charming compact plants only reach heights of 6-8 inches, making them perfect for small spaces or for creating a striking pop of color at the front of your flower bed. Despite their petite size, Thumbelina zinnias produce an abundance of long-lasting blooms in a variety of lively colors, making them ideal for cutting and displaying indoors.
Growing Instructions:
Starting these seeds is a breeze! Direct sow them in the garden after the last frost by sprinkling them on top of the soil and lightly raking them in. Zinnias thrive in plenty of sunshine and well-draining soil. Once the seedlings develop a few sets of true leaves, thin them to about 6 inches apart to ensure optimal growth. Keep the soil consistently moist, especially during dry spells, and don’t forget to deadhead spent blooms to encourage continuous flowering throughout the summer.
