Offered here is this nice Beautiful Vintage Solid Wood Rocking Chair, in Classic Colonial Style. The chair is in very good condition, structurally. It is sound and sturdy. It is stamped with 15 MAP on the bottom. I am not sure what that means exactly, but I am sure that ti has to do with the manufacture. It is a vintage chair, and while I am unsure of its exact age, I would guess that it is at least 50 years old. It has a medium to light finish, and the finish is quite worn in many places, all over the chair, but particularly at the top top rail, and along the seat. The tips of the rockers are worn, but there are no drastic gouges or deep scratches in the chair. All of the finish issues would be easily fixed with a light refinishing, but the wear also gives the chair a wonderful patina. It has a lovely, simple spindle back, and spindled arm rests. It is 39.25" tall at the back, 28.75" deep at the rockers, 19.5" deep at the seat, 21.75" wide at the front of the seat, 22.75" wide across the arm rests, and the seat is 14" high. It is a beautiful classic rocking chair, with sturdy, lasting construction, and would be a wonderful addition to any home.
