Vintage Mossi Burkina/Faso Ancestral Figurine/Statue Woman. This particular statue is medium in size and is in relatively good condition for it's age, almost 100 years old, there is however, a break on the foot and other minor nicks. Figures like these could have been used by either a chief or a commoner. For a chief it would have been a symbol of office or a memorial after death.
