Vintage Engraved Brass Mexican Western Espuelas de Charro Spurs 9 Point Rowel Click images to enlarge Description This is a pair of beautifully engraved solid brass vintage Mexican "Espuelas de Charro" Western spurs with a 1-3/8 inch diameter 9 point rowel. These are unmarked authentic handmade Charro spurs and feature extensive engraving on both sides of the spur. The size of the spurs meausres 6 inches total length by 1-1/2 inches wide with the inside measurements 3 inches wide by 3-1/2 inches long. The rowel is a 1-3/8 inches in diameter 9 point blunted ends rowel on a 1-3/4 inch long shank. Charro spurs are often used as Western decor or as part of an authentic corrida instead of as actual using equipment. I purchased these spurs from the daughter of the original owner who told me her mother used them for display in her home.
