Vintage Black Tear Drop Pierced Earrings Black glass tear drop bead dangles down from vintage ear wires. I'm gonna be telling my age now, so here goes. I remember when I first got my ears pierced, these are the ear wires that we wore at that time. Some were gold tone, but some were real gold. I don't know that they required them to mark them back then like they do now, so I am not sure and will say gold tone wires. The tear drop measures about 1/2 inch in length.
