Solid Ground- Cosmas J. Dokos. A book of religious poems in three sections: *Solid Ground *The Common Touch *Meditations in Verse. Each section is dedicated to certain members of the authors' family. My research found 1 Mr. Dokos on the web, born on November 3,1907 and died on October 30, 1987. That was the only Cosmas J. Dokos information I could find. I did see one other book of this title listed for sale at over $400, but that was a few years back and it also was signed by author to someone. The gifted notein my book reads:-- With Best Wishes to Norma Zimmer, Cosmas J. Dokos.-- There was a Norma Zimmer (July 13, 1923 ? May 10, 2011) who was a vocalist, best remembered for her twenty-two-year tenure as Lawrence Welk's "Champagne Lady" on The Lawrence Welk Show, and for her love of traditional Christian music. The book is Copyright 1967, Publisher name not shown. Book has 161 glossy pages that feel sort of like photograph paper. It does not have an ISBN or Catolog Card number. The author signed and gifted the book on the first end page. There was something attached inside the front board that was later removed, leaving some remains on the page. There is a small diagonal water stain on the upper corner of the book, page #144 to the back cover. No dog-eared page corners.
