The rim of the bowl is slightly irregular...like you might find in a hand thrown bowl. The base color is mustard yellow with burgundy flowers and dark green leaves. The design is hand painted. Very distinctive. I think that this is a pasta bowl...but it could be used for soup or cereal...or for serving. Very versatile. Dishwasher safe.
