This is a Nicestuff 68740 (also known as the TL740 or NSD-68740 or NSD-TL740 or KRAM 68740) handsfree integration harness for use with select Saab. This is a Telemute lead, which utilizes a telephone audio input on the vehicle's headunit itself, that is triggered to swtich over to the handsfree audio of the carkit when requested. "375" CONNECTOR 1993-1997 Saab 900 1995-1998 Saab 9000 WITH 18 PIN VDA A.K.A. "375" CONNECTOR 1997-2002 Saab 9-3 WITH 18 PIN VDA A.K.A. "375" CONNECTOR 2007+ Saab 9-3 EXCEPT BOSE 2007+ Saab 9-3 WITH NAVIGATION 2004-2005 Saab 9-5 PREMIUM/PRESTIGE, NO NAV 2006+ Saab 9-5 ALL W/O NAV 2006+ Saab 9-5 WITH NAV " + " indicates - it should be compatible through that generation of the vehicle platform For 6874X / TL74X Telemute leads, look for a VDA (a.k.a. 375 or 18pin) connector behind the climate controls or passenger side kick pannel on the transmission tunnel, or the radio, or glove box. The connector can be taped. Ask your dealer for help locating it. On activation of the Mute line, the audio will switchover to the handsfree kit. You can also use this harness to integrate audio into your car stereo from other mono sources by triggering the mute enable line (navigation units, radar detectors, CB radios, etc.). A carkit-specific adapter harness may be required for your installation (I have some of these in my booth), or the connections can be made individually. Available on the connection to the carkit is: VBATT - constant +12V power supply Ground - chassis ground Ignition - switched +12V signal Mute - active-low trigger Mute connection Speaker (+) - differential mono audio signal from the carkit or device Speaker (-) - differential mono audio signal from the carkit or device I have a mobile electronics installation business and am selling off some excess inventory.
