The flashing is about 1 inch on the top edge. The rest of the bowl is the clear diamond pattern. Part of the stem also has a diamond point ball at the top just below the bowl. It stands about 8 inches in height and top diameter is about 6.5 inches and the foot is about 3.5 inches in diameter. Condition It is in great vintage condition with no chips, cracks or breaks. We cannot detect any rubbing on the flashing. This ruby flash depression compote has red band in excellent shape. Since this is molded glass, there are a couple of mold marks on the bottom. These are commonly found on molded glass ware.
