The author describes the history and evolution of the unit, its specialized training and equipment, and gives information about other anti-terrorist units. The oversize book is copiously illustrated. This edition is translated from the original German edition and was printed in Germany. This is a very nice copy, though the jacket has a long tear on the bottom half of the front cover (which is taped on the inside) and a short tear at the head of the spine. Otherwise, the dj would be in excellent shape.
