Item description

Brand new factory sealed classic cover art, first issue vhs tape which makes it closer to the original undamaged sourceprint. Controversial in its time. A young white woman, Joanna (Katherine Houghton, Hepburn's real-life niece), brings her black fiance (Sidney Poitier), a distinguished doctor, home to meet her perplexed parents (Spencer Tracy Katherine Hepburn). The situation truly tests their open-mindedness and understanding. Christina (Hepburn) accepts her daughter's decision to marry John, but Matthew (Tracy) is shocked by this interracial union; and the doctor's black parents are equally dismayed. Both families must sit down face to face and examine each other's level of intolerance. Fluff is given strength by Oscar-winning Hepburn and Tracy in his final film appearance. Remade in 2005 as 'Guess Who' with Ashton Kutcher in a gender role reversal from this original.
