Diana Denslow The Artist: Biography (according to Ms. Denslow) "How do I squeeze decades of living into a small space? Which of the many truths about me are important to you? I know these bios are usually written in the third person, even though, in fact, they are mostly written by the artist. My spirit rebels against this false illusion. So now you know two things about me which I consider important. I value honesty, and I am somewhat of a rebel. I live in Poulsbo, Washington on the Kitsap Peninsula. I have been painting professionally for over 30 years. I started by doing outside art shows and mall art shows. I gradually moved to showing my art work in galleries. Over the years my original paintings have been available in various galleries up and down the Pacific coast from Washington State to San Diego, California. In the 80's I began to make prints of my images available. I am currently working on a web page. I no longer color in the lines. Oil paints are very forgiving. If you don't like what you have painted, you can change it. This is not so true of color crayons . . . or life.
