Item description

Antique circa World War II Real Photo. Caption on front reads, "Claudette Faucher, Kansas City Pal." Standard postcard size, but with non-postcard back. Measures 3.5 x 5.5. Condition: This is an original photo, not a copy or reproduction. It is in excellent condition except for a pair of small tape tears on the reverse side, apparently from removal from a photo album. Comments: Claudette Faucher was a 3 year old girl from Kansas City who was part of the World War II USO Tour to sell war bonds. She was billed as "The Little Hostess of the Air" and performed on stage dressed in western attire.
