Item description

Celebrate Scouting, the ?sister? stamp to the 2010 Scouting stamp, pays tribute to scouting organizations for the opportunities and pleasures they have provided millions of youths worldwide. The stamp features a large silhouette of a girl with binoculars looking into the distance. A scene within the silhouette features a scout in mid-stride on a serious summer trek, in an environment composed of large redwoods, a lake, and a distant forested mountainside. Working with art director Derry Noyes, illustrator Craig Frazier created the stamp art. The stamp was issued on June 9, 2012 in Washington, DC. The ?brother? stamp was issued to help celebrate the 100th anniversary of the Boy Scouts of America, and the great institution of Scouting, and to honor all scouts everywhere. The U.S. Postal Service issued the 44-cent Scouting Stamp on July 27, 2010. Your artwork is proudly displayed and protected within our premium acrylic display frame. The frame is made of two acrylic panels custom cut to the exact dimensions of the stamp sheet and held together with 8 powerful nickel-plated magnets. The background panel is glossy black acrylic. Dimensions: 7.3125 inches Wide x 8.6875 inches High Includes a FREE table-top stand or hang it on a wall with a 3M frame strip (or similar) which is also included. Care Instructions: Wipe gently with mild glass cleaner. Use a soft cloth towel and avoid paper towels. The male version of this stamp is also available. Revisit our shop to complete your set!
