The 1947 Cook Book is in very worn pre-owned condition - 14th Printing of De Luxe Edition.
The 1981 New Cookbook is in excellent condition. (might have a little insert here or there)
The 1947 is in very worn condition, back cover is starting to separate. Lots of spots. (see more photos below)
If you are the avid cook and have a lot of cookbooks, the 1947 is somewhat rare and you might appreciate it in your collection, even if it is quite worn and blemishes and foxing etc.
