Item description

An Asian Tankard....staved in construction....gives a good crash course on surface evaluation of primitives......(my personal forte)........PATINA should NOT be confused with weathering.......its easier for this deception to take place in asian artifacts vs.amer/euro/artifacts......due to a state of the art in machining not available in 3rd world nationsC.1600-1899....Always somewhat substandard...none the less this is one IMPRESSIVE TANKARD.....Acute photos will show combination of age/patina vs weathering outdoors.....1st of 2 posts....one of a kind extreme primitive.....
