Metzke Pewter Butterfly Necklace Bohemian and 10 similar items

Unique circular pendant necklace from Metzke Pewter featuring a boho butterfly with elaborate cutouts. This large pendant is 'crude cast' meaning there is minimal finishing to the inside edges of the cutouts. There is a groovy bohemian vibe to this necklace that would be awesome for any 1960 -1970's costume, and is just as relevant for today's hippies. :) 2 3/4" diameter on 32 1/2" chain. Vintage jewelry is rarely perfect. We will do our best to note any obvious flaws, but flea bites, and small scratches are to be expected. This necklace is in excellent vintage condition. *Of note - This is rough cast pewter and as such, some edges, particularly on the backside and inside of the cutouts, have not been filed smooth. It looks like someone applied clear nail polish to the back, which has yellowed slightly over the years. We think we would follow suit, and apply additional nail polish, or take a small file to some of the cutout edges. All outer edges are comparatively smooth to the inner cutouts. Condition Descriptions: Excellent = very little to no visible wear, though minimal flea bites/scratches may be seen thru a loupe. Very Good = normal wear and tear typical for the age which can be seen up close, as well as flea bites/scratches seen thru a loupe. Average = significant wear seen with and without a loupe.
