Vintage Lisner Brushed Gold Pin Brooch Earrings Set Demi-Parure Signed Clip-On Backs Designer Goldtone Metal Textured Swirl Design Wreath Whirl Style Double Twist Rope This is a lovely rich looking textured brushed matte gold finish Pin or Brooch and matching earrings by the D. Lisner Company, which was founded in New York in 1904. All of the pieces are signed LISNER , which is the mark used between 1955 and 1985. The brooch has the look of a swirled wreath with a double twist rope in the center. The earrings match one of the wreath sections with the rope curved along the edge. They almost appear to be gold and silver toned on the rope area, but that may just be the patina where the gold has faded. The earrings are 1 inch tall and 3/4 inch wide. The Brooch is 2 inches in diameter. They are in great vintage condition, but there is a small defect on the brooch where the Lisner Mark is on the back. It looks almost like a tiny crimp mark on the edge from when the mark was made (see arrow in picture). The earrings have clip backs and are both signed on the clip. There is a bit of finish wear on the clip backs, but you don't see it without magnification. Please look at the many enlarged photographs as they are part of the description. This simple yet elegant set would make a great addition to your collection of vintage jewelry and would look great with any outfit, dressy or casual.
