Item description
These two unused, oversized cards measure approximately 7” x 5 1/2”. They show some edge wear some small nicks and light creasing. The backs show light age tanning. The cards were in a photo album and part of the pages they were glued to is still attached to the backs. Judging form the cars in the photo, they appear to be from the 1970s. One of the cars is a Volkswagen.
The terminal is located at Chattanooga, Tennessee.
Both cards were published by NOW and are Plastichrome by Colourpicture,
Once an active Southern Railway station, the Chattanooga Choo-Choo’s 24 acres of beauty and nostalgia are today a delight to young and old. The award winning design stands majestically as a landmark to the railroad era of the 1800’s and 1900’s. Photo by Bruce Miley.
This card is the inside of the terminal, showing the train and gardens in the evening. The paper from the album covers much of the writing, so I am unable to make out all the information. The photo is by Bruce Miley.
Please email with any questions, I will combine shipping on multiple orders.
