This splendid beauty is part of the Feathered Beauties Silver Crystal collection. The Cockatoo is crafted in clear faceted crystal with jet eyes and beak and a yellow crest and sits perched on a frosted, matte crystal branch with a clear crystal chaton set into it. The signature Swarovski Swan logo has a unique placement on this piece. It is located on the inside of the tail feather, so you can see it when the Cockatoo is facing you. This made it a bit difficult to get a picture of; the best angle I could capture it was from the back and you can see it at the bottom of lowest tail feather. The facets and the sleekness of the face make this one superbly shiny feathered friend. There are many perks to choosing a Swarovski bird over a real one especially care and cost as such, it makes it a great compromise for that person who has been pestering you to get a real bird. DISCLAIMER: If you are going to do your research on this, or any, Cockatoo – do not use talk to text and if you do, don’t use a work computer!
