Ray Auvil in Randolph County, West Virginia; his father was a concert
violinist, who also was a woodsman and herbalist. His works became
wildly popular after he launched Ray Harm Wildlife Art Inc., an
enterprise that made photo-offset prints of Harm's wildlife
paintings.Wildlife artist Ray Harm, who was born in West Virginia but
found a very successful career as a full-time artist after moving to
Kentucky in
1962, died April 9, in Sonoita, Arizona, at 87 years of age
