Information for Reef Tanks:
A UV dosage rated at 30,000 or 45,000 µw/cm (EOL) is ideal for reef environments. Using higher kill rates can destroy the planktonic food supply essential for reef systems.
Information for Marine Fish (No Reef or Live Rock):
For effective control of fish disease, a UV dosage rated at 75,000 or 90,000 µw/cm (EOL) is recommended.
All UV dosages are calculated at the end of lamp life (approximately 14 months).
Disclaimer:
Aqua Ultraviolet does not recommend utilizing Wipers with Salt Water. If used in saltwater applications, the warranty on the Wiper parts will be voided.
