About the
artist:
Patrick
Block (b. 1958) has, together with his wife, Shelly, written more than 90
stories for Donald Duck Adventures etc. Patrick has also drawn stories and
covers, etc. for Donald Duck magazines and other Disney releases all over the
world, and his stories have been translated into more than 36 languages??. In
the period 1996-1998 Patrick worked closely together with Carl Barks on making
the history, Somewhere In Nowhere, and various gags and designs for the
drawings, which among other things can be seen in the book, The Carl Barks
Treasury. Along with his production of stories and covers and freelance work
for the Walt Disney Group, Patrick has started to use his excellent artistic
skills to create watercolours and oil paintings and thereby continue Carl
Barks? proud tradition of making Disney art of the very highest quality.
