This antique map of Africa was published circa 1696, and created by Dutch cartographer Carel Allard and artist Phillip Tidemann.
Allard (1648-1706) was the son of Hugo Allard, founder of a map and town plan publishing company in Amsterdam in the late 17th century.
This very detailed map is an unusual home decor print for any room.
