Near fine in semi-stiff card covers with brick-red titles on front and spine; has the original glassine dust protector with chipping at top and bottom of spine, age-toning on spine, light age-toning on front and back covers, whisper of wear on corners of covers; in a very good cardboard slipcase with gilt fore-edge; foxed, lightly stained, with wear to corners and slightly concave sides.
Numbered edition, this being number 62 of 400 (of 1800) issued with six full-color extra plates (includes one duplicate) and 18 monochromatic plates, (8-7/8" by 6-1/8").
Quarto, 118 pages. In French.
A vintage reprint of the 18th century French erotic classic by the author and spy André Robert de Nerciat (1739-1800) with contemporary illustrations by Klem.
