Up for sale is a 1910's Boy Scout Hanging Brass Medal Token Whitehead Hoag Co. Newark NJ Rare

This style of medal seems to be pretty tough to find. Only one other example is listed currently. They date it to the 1912-1914 period. I see two others that have sold in 2017, and they dated this medal to 1919 and had the original family history. It seems theses are early 1900's. This has the Whitehead Hoag Co. Newark. NJ makers mark on the reverse.

It is missing the ribbon portion at the top. The original owner polished this medal making it very bright and shiny.

The medal is made of brass and measures 32mm in diameter.
