Handmade ORIGINAL Roy Cohen Oil Kaleidoscope
A clear barrel filled with oil is used to create movement: glass beads, natural stones and other special elements float within the oil. The smooth movement of the objects occurs independently without need of human intervention. The user can just watch and enjoy the spectacular images flowing in harmony and changing every moment before our eyes.

Roy's Kaleidoscopes

When Roy was 7, he was always attracted to symmetrical forms and how light passes through color. He worked as a photographer, and later, during his architectural studies, he discovered his real passion--the colorful and psychedelic world of kaleidoscopes.
Since the early 1990s, he has produced of kaleidoscopes for individuals,, from miniature kaleidoscopes used as jewelry to giant-sized styles for museum exhibitions. He using a dark brass patina to resemble an antiqued finish popularized by the Victorian, "steam punk" genre.
Roy says, "I hope my kaleidoscopes will add joy, equilibrium, and color to your life...I think kaleidoscopes do good for the soul, developing one's imagination, and helping us step forward into a life of beauty, love, and peace."
