Description

My brother was a member of Columbia House Music Club and received tapes every month.  He enjoyed a wide range of music, but he didn't listen to them all as some of the tapes are still sealed.  I also have quite a selection of Spanish artists, as my Mom was a big fan of polkas, mariachi and other well known artists.

Mom passed in 1993, Ray in 1996.  These tapes haven't been played since.  They have been quietly waiting in their plastic pull out drawer cassette storage boxes for years.  I am amazed at the quality of these cassettes and their cases, they look and feel like new.  I no longer have a boom box, so I can't test any of the tapes, but as their condition is near mint, I can't imagine a reason why they wouldn't play just fine.

In addition to these pristine cassettes, I will also be listing the not so pristine, cassettes that have been owned and played by other members of the family, then abandoned when CDs became the thing.  Some of these will have cases, some not, cases tend to be a bit cloudy or scratched up, or both.  In some cases the cassette itself is trash but the case and album cover/artwork insert is still in great condition for that buyer that needs a replacement for their own collection.

Please use the photos as a guide as to the quality of the tape, as what you see is what you'll get--and there are no returns.  My goal is to clear out some of the collections in my home, raise a little money for the upkeep of my home and to see that these small treasures get into the hands of collectors and afficianados.

Shipping is free within the continental US.  International Shipping is available.  Priority Mail is also an option at the BUYER'S expense.
