The Whirlpool oven bake element is an OEM replacement part responsible for providing heat for baking and cooking in the oven. The bake element is located at the bottom of the oven, beneath the oven floor or behind a removable panel.  When the oven is turned on and set to bake mode, the bake element heats up and glows red, radiating heat upward to create the desired temperature.

The Whirlpool bake element can also be used on Maytag, KitchenAid, Jenn-Air, Amana, Magic Chef, Admiral, Norge, Roper, and Kenmore/Sears brand appliances.

This part fixes the following symptoms:

• Uneven or inconsistent baking or cooking results
• The oven not reaching or maintaining the desired temperature
• The bake element not heating up or glowing red when the oven is turned on
