Vinyl plays with occasional light-crackles (play-graded). 7" Single. Original picture sleeve looks good. A few creases near edges, especially near top. Discoloration spots on back. Wear along all edges and to corners. Opening shows signs of heavy use. (Not a cut-out.)

The single peaked at No. 1 on the Cashbox Top 100 and at No. 3 on the Billboard Hot 100 Chart. Additionally, it reached No. 1 on the Adult Contemporary Chart as well as the Hot Country Songs Chart. The single was certified Gold by the RIAA for over a million copies sold in the United States. Midler won the Grammy Award for Best Female Pop Vocal Performance for The Rose.
