Was used to store coffee in. Hand washed inside and outside, but still smells like coffee.

Wonderful vintage Wheaton Clear embossed glass, wire top canister jar with wooden lid.

Great vintage condition with no chips or cracks to the jar itself....the wire bale works great and fits tightly...the rubber seal shows some wear but is in functional condition ...The wooden top shows some wear but is not cracked or splitting...the bottom of the jar is marked “1L” , “Wheaton Fine Glassware”

and “Not fo Canning”.
