Dwarf Red Coneflower (Echinacea Purpurea) is a flower that resembles prairie coneflower, but only grows 1 to 2 feet high. Also commonly know as Mexican Hat, this biennial to perennial will grow well in hot and dry climates. Blooms in July to August in Zone 5; in 80-85 days in areas with longer growing seasons. Excellent as a border plant or in rock gardens 

***Please note - if planting in spring you it's suggested to mix seed with sand and place in refrigerator for 30 days (cold stratification) before planting. Cold stratification is not necessary if planting in the fall in areas that have frequent frosts
