Vintage 1970's 7Up The Uncola Upside Down Glasses
These glasses were part of a campaign to compete with Coca Cola in the mid 70’s amid slumping 7up sales.
Anything non-cola was unhip, uncool - the kind of thing your parents drank because it was less gassy than Coke. The slogan was an innocuous "you like it, it likes you".
7 Up went to change the game when they took on the very concept of cola directly, and Coke manufacturing an inverted Coke glasses, and emblazoned them with "the Uncola".
Clear Glass with red logo and printing.
Glasses measure approximately 6" tall, 2 1/4" upper diameter and the base diameter is 3".
Glassware is in Very Good Condition, the logo and print are quite clear. No chips or cracks.
