This is for a copy of the extremely scarce book, Dams in Japan, published in 1976 by the Japanese National Committee on Large Dams.  It includes technical specs (and a black and white picture) of approximately 34 completed and in construction (at the time) dams, along with pages of advertisers from dam contractors, consultants, and "makers."  Most of the ad pages have large photos.  See photo of contents page for full list of dams included here (a few examples are Taisetsu, Hirose, Hirono, Muroo, Nabara, Ikeda, Fukuji, Kusaki, Futai, Ohdo and many many more!). Book measures 8" x 11". 88 pages.  Heavy cardstock covers.  Covers show some lightening from age.  Perfect bound.  Pages easily open all of the way, but binding is currently strong - however, care should be taken when handling to ensure the continued integrity of the 45 year old glue (and I suspect this glue was never all that high quality to begin with).  Name written on first (blank) page in upper right corner. Very hard to find.  There is one listed on Amazon for $10,000.  This copy is priced much more sanely.
