Vintage original 8 x 10 in. US single-weight glossy photograph from the classic 1970s break-out-of-prison-themed drama, ESCAPE FROM ALCATRAZ, released in 1979 by Paramount Pictures and directed by Don Siegel. Alcatraz is the most secure prison of its time. It is believed that no one can ever escape from it, until three daring men make a possibly successful attempt at escaping from one of the most infamous prisons in the world.

The image depicts a shot of prison inmates Frank Norris (Clint Eastwood) and Clarence Anglin (Jack Thibeau) as they are closely watched by a suspicious guard. Affixed to the bottom of the verso (which has subsequently come loose) is the original paper snipe that folds over to the recto and describes the image. It is in very fine condition as shown.
