High carbon stainless steel blade is flat ground to a very fine edge to enable clean neat cuts. Blade straight edge and slight flex.
Handle is made from a single piece of natural wood. High quality rosewood is used. Hard, dense and heavy wood that makes a durable and beautiful handle.
The blade tang runs almost to the end and is attached with 3 rivets.
The 9 inch size in uncommon as most were made in 2 inch increments. A very handy size for home or professional use.
Both knives are unused old stock but one is an older model. The other is a later model with a highly polished blade. Other than blade finish, they are the same.
Both came in original factory package but the older white package shows some age and wear.
