WHY SO GOOD:

Our products are beauty with a purpose – designed to target skin worries and issues. They are beautifully handcrafted with thoughtfully sourced, minimally processed natural, food grade and organic ingredients. We choose to follow a truly natural philosophy to help us source the purest ingredients and formulate the best products we possibly could.
Our ingredients are all 100% biodegradable, natural and organic, we wanted something that would work magic on our skin without hurting the environment. Our products are formulated with beautiful skin in mind, they are Gentle on Skin + Tough on Skin Problems.

ARE SG PRODUCTS TRULY NATURAL?

Our philosophy is 100% plant sourced ingredients and all our products are suitable for vegetarians. We believe in transparency and everything that goes into our products is available to our customers. We follow NPA and Ecocert guidelines, this means all our ingredients, processes and formulations stay true to our Philosophy of Plant Power.
As consumers of natural products we have a right to know what goes in our products, always read the ingredients list, Natural/ organic bodies list what their acceptable ingredients are and it is easy to cross reference with their database. If complete ingredients list in not available we wouldn’t use it.

ARE ALL SO GOOD PRODUCTS VEGETARIAN?
100% of our products are vegetarian or Vegan. We love beeswax, honey and their healing, antibacterial qualities, they are the only ingredient in our products that are not vegan. It’s stated in the product information, if in doubt please do contact us.

ARE ALL SO GOOD PRODUCTS VEGAN?
All the ingredients we use are vegan other than beeswax and raw honey.

WHAT PRODUCTS WOULD YOU RECOMMEND TO SOMEONE NEW TO SO GOOD?

We love all our products and use all our products personally. We launched with Godmother, it’s a waterless cream targeting skin problems. It does this in a manner very different to what we have learned and what we are familiar with.
Broadly most skin issues revolve around overgrowth of bacteria, sebum, trapped debris, clogged pores, and flaky / dry skin. Traditional skincare products we use as preventative measures use synthetics/ antibiotics and chemicals which dry skin out, usually resulting in very dry, dull, ashy skin. The kind of barrier they form on the skin, doesn’t allow it to breathe resulting in more breakouts.

Godmother is powered by natural and organic butters and plant oils. All the ingredients are chosen with care – they have very strong natural antibiotic, antifungal, antiviral and antioxidant properties. They work together to clear skin without drying it out. We highly recommend trying it and/or signing up for one of our giveaways, we absolutely love it.
And you might not need a concealer anymore ?

WILL SO GOOD PRODUCTS HELP MINIMIZE PORES?

Our products are designed to keep skin clean, healthy, fresh naturally. Large pores are usually on dry skin (even oily skin can be extremely dehydrated) and skin with impurities clogging it so the pores can’t close and the skin can’t breathe. Regular use of our products cleans and softens the skin, if there is nothing packed into the pores they ought to start shrinking. Remember to always cleanse and moisturize your skin, even after a big night out. Use sunscreen everyday especially if you use scrubs and exfoliants. Wiping your face with antibacterial wipes is not enough and at times can push bacteria deeper into pores.

OUR ROUTINE FOR CLOGGED PORES/ BLACK HEADS/ WHITE HEADS/ BREAKOUTS

Cleanse your skin every night before bed time.
Use Godmother diligently along with Formula 5 till the breakouts minimize.
Use a face scrub/ mask (like Cocola) regularly to clear skin out.
Godmother and Formula 5 must be used regularly till breakouts are at a minimum. They are powered by plant oils and butters which have great antibacterial, antifungal, antioxidant properties – use it anywhere you feel susceptible to germs.

WHAT TO WATCH OUT FOR WITH USING SO GOOD PRODUCTS.

Our skin got much better from using So Good products, we did have different stages that we went through. Our creams are great at helping skin soften, moisturize and heal. What we did see happen in a few instances is the skin pushing out a lot of impurities, debris etc. For the first few days it pushed out a lot of black heads/ white heads, in one instance an ingrown hair. We recommend starting on the skincare routine not right before an important date or function, give it atleast a week and perhaps more depending on the current skin condition. For those of us who visit the spa/ salon start the skincare routine a week before so you get rid of a lot of the impurities during a facial, otherwise use an exfoliating mask like Cocola, use our products diligently for the first few months till the skin regains its healthy glow.
Natural products are an integral part of a healthy lifestyle, they get our skin stronger as part of our daily routine.

WHY DO SO GOOD PRODUCTS FEEL DIFFERENT?

We don’t use any synthetic ingredients in our products. This means no carbomers, Silicones and other synthetics which give majority of the skincare products their ‘skin feel’. Our products smell great from all the ingredients and essential oils, we don’t use synthetic fragrances or any synthetics at all.
We want our products to give skin all the nourishment it needs to restore its health and natural glow. We have a very high level of actives with no fillers. Our products all have distinct personalities and are designed with a set purpose in mind. For instance our Lovestuck and The Godmother creams are formulated to stay on the skin where they heal and protect the skin, this power to stick on helps them transfer all the nutrients to our skin over a longer period of time.

SYNTHETICS IN SG:

We don’t use Synthetics, we wanted our products powered by nature and plants, it’s what we believe in. our plant powered products have shown great results, they are made with ingredients which don’t cause dependence or sensitization. They are formulated to make your skin grow stronger and healthier from the inside out.

WHY DOES MY PRODUCT APPEAR DIFFERENT FROM THE PREVIOUS ONE I ORDERED?

When using purely plant based, minimally processed ingredients there can be variations between batches depending on harvest etc. With a very high butter content the product may go grainy – this is from the fatty acid profiles of the butter, products with high Cocoa butter content may get a chocolate bloom. STORING SG SKINCARE PRODUCTS.

We recommend storing our products away from heat, moisture and direct sunlight. It is made of purely natural, highly perishable ingredients. To get the most benefit out of your So Good product use them regularly, as directed, use spatulas for all our products which come in jars. Avoid water or external contaminants from getting into the jars.
This will help all SG products stay in great shape and continue to work their magic.
For example: in Hong Kong its very humid, don’t store it around the bathtub as there is a chance there’s mold near the bathtub and chances of water getting in.

DIRECTIONS FOR USE:

We recommend using the spatulas for our products in jars, they are the best at avoiding contamination. Natural products need to be looked after, follow directions on how to use the products.
You wouldn’t need to use a lot, if you find your skin is greasy/ oily it means you used too much and gently blot with tissue.

WHAT PRESERVATIVES DOES SO GOOD USE?

We only use NPA and Ecocert ingredients, the resulting products have been so fantastic, we love it.

SHELF LIFE OF OUR PRODUCTS:

Our products have a shelf life of upto 12 months. The PAO (period after opening) is clearly marked on the labels. All our products are made in small batches to ensure their freshness and help retain all the nourishment for our skin. WOULD YOU RECOMMEND A SKINCARE ROUTINE?

Yes, absolutely, we cannot emphasize enough on the nightly skincare ritual, this routine is what makes the next day look good and helps us get to gorgeous, minimal make up and makeup free days
So Good products are designed to give our skin what it needs to heal itself when we sleep. This is where you will see maximum benefits from clean, beautiful products. We highly recommend the bedtime regimen, it’s when our skin is not exposed to pollutants, particulate matter, we have our makeup off and our skin has the chance to breathe and recover.

Step 1: Cleanser: Get the makeup off, even for those of us who don’t use makeup there can be grime, pollution, dirt which might be on our skin.
Step 2: Wash/ cleanse (shower): Don’t get your face squeaky clean from detergent based cleansers. It is BAD. An oil cleanser or plant oil based scrub works wonders, it can easily wash off in the shower and doesn’t dry skin out or strip it of all its protection.
Step 3: Moisturize and facial serum – for face
Step 4: Moisturize and Body oil – for body
Step 5: Godmother – Use something that would minimize water loss and give a boost of vitamins and trace elements. What we want is something to help lock in moisture while still letting our skin breathe.
Godmother, a potent cream, great for face and any problem areas, powered by the likes of Nigella Sativa seed, Carrot seed, Argan, pomegranate seed and essential oils it acts like a warrior, fighting off all skin problems. It nourishes, heals and minimizes trans-epidermal water loss.

WHAT IS YOUR RETURN/REFUND/EXCHANGE POLICY?

Your satisfaction if of the highest importance to us and we will do what we can to ensure you are happy with every purchase you make from us. If you are unhappy with the purchase please do contact us.

Due to the highly perishable nature of our products all sales are final.
We unfortunately cannot refund shipping as it is paid directly to our shipping providers.

If the product arrives broken/ defective due to shipping and handling we may send replacement or refund the product on a case by case basis. When you receive the product please contact us immediately, within 48 hours.

In the rare case a product is defective we may ship an exchange or refund for the product.

In most cases refunds/ returns are processed as store credit.

It is essential you get in touch with us immediately with any problems related to our products, due to the natural and perishable nature of our products after 14 days of your receiving the order we will not be able to help with order issues.

Please note: We will not be able to refund the shipping cost as it is directly paid to our providers. For international orders, if your package is unclaimed and is returned back to us, we may refund the amount of the products but the shipping cost will not be refunded.

WHAT IS SG’S SHIPPING POLICY?

Our shipping cost is displayed at checkout and shipping promotions are shown on social media. We ship all our orders out within 5 – 8 working days of receiving it. It is longer than the average processing time mainly because all our products are made in small batches to ensure quality. We like to keep our customers updated regarding the progress of the orders, in case of any issues please do contact us.

WHY IS SG SHIPPING EXPENSIVE?

It does look like shipping SG products is more expensive. It’s mainly because of our glass jars. We spent quite a bit of time on selecting our packaging, glass jars came out as winners as they don’t react with ingredients, keep products fresh, safe to use even with high levels of actives and they are 100% recyclable and reusable.
