1983 Vintage Postcard  Photo of Piper Seneca QSL Card N1CDI

This full color historically significant photo postcard is of a Piper Seneca III  in flight over southwestern United States.

In 1981, the PA-34-220T Seneca III was introduced, having completed certification on 17 December 1980.  The change in model designation reflected an engine upgrade, Continental TSIO-360-KB engines were used and a one piece windshield and a bare metal instrument panel instead of one covered with a removable plastic fascia. More than 930 Seneca IIIs were built.

Sent by "John P. Noyes" who lived on Babcock St. in Boston, (Suffolk County), this photo postcard had the pre-printed standard QSO information, so it is clear he was also an aviation enthusiast.

Postmarked January 10, 1983 in Boston, MA this would be a nice addition to any collection.

CONDITION: No pin holes, rips, tears or creases. Photo is clear and not smudged or stained. Corners show slight wear.  !3 cent Crazy Horse postage stamp is missing the bottom left portion, torn when removed from a sheet of stamps.
