VERY UNIQUE One of a Kind 1955 Vintage Handmade Handwritten QSL Card W1TOL

A one of a kind, hand made, hand drawn QSL Card on a pre-paid, pre-printed 2 cent US Postalcard with all the QSO information and a wonderful hand drawn sketch of "William W. Brigham's" antenna set up, which looks like it ran a 67 foot distance, 42 feet high, to/from a detached garage to/from his house, or perhaps to a neighbors house.

The handwritten message says that it was cold and windy (18 deg) and that he "played with radio in 1908, when I was wireless, then dropped ?? in 1911 (Whitey was born in 1913)  and then returned to the fold in 1951".   The handwriting is difficult to read, but we think it says that "Whitey was his first contact with ??? in Cal"

The handwritten date is Jan 7, 1955 , sent from Roxbury, MA
Postmarked Jan 8, 1955 in Boston, MA
A wonderful historical deference for any history buff or family filling in gaps in their family tree.

PLEASE NOTE: The Blue border is the blue paper backing we used when scanning to better define the edges of the white card, and is not a part of the card.

CONDITION: No pin holes rips, tears, creases. Edges and corners show only minimal wear and discoloration. Postmark and writing is clear, readable and not smudged or smeared. The "Buy US Savings Bonds" Stamped postal message partially obscures the pre-printed 2 cent pre-paid Franklin postal card stamp.
