2012 The White House Historical Association Christmas Ornament with Original Box & Paperwork.  This beautifully ornate ornament has such intricate detail.  New open box & has not been hung or used.  Ornament is a tribute to the 27th President, William H. Taft (1909-1913).  Ornament is inspired by the Taft's introduction of the 1st automobile at The White House.  The double-sided ornament is made of very thin brass & nickel finished by a layer of 24k gold.  Ornament depicts the President & Mrs. Taft traveling to deliver Christmas presents.  The green model M steam powered touring car has the Presidential Seal on the doors.  Red ribbon on the ornament displays "Christmas 2012" on the front engine.  3D ornament measures approx 3 3/8" wide x 2" tall & had an attached gold hang string.
