It is a guaranteed Native / Indian made item, and is like a standard dinner plate- not all the way flat.

The maker or weaver is unknown, and it is either from the Pima (Akimel O'Odham) or Papago (Tohono O'Odham) Arizona tribes.

Material is likely woven yucca, and plant based, definitely not horsehair or an other animal.
