This vintage mid century vegetable or onion chopper was made by Federal Glass Company. It has a pink plastic top with a white plastic knob and works with a spring action. The blades are stainless steel and do show some wear. The screw holding the blades together do appear to have a very small amount of light rust and discoloration, a good scrubbing with steel wool should remove it.

The bottom of the glass container is marked Federal Housewares Chicago Illinois. Embossed on one side are the various measurements showing how much has been chopped starting with 1/2 cup and going up in 1/2 cup increments to 1 1/2 cups. It stands approximately 4 1/4 inches tall, not including the spring action handle, and 3 inches across the top.

This one would date from the 1950s through the 1960s. It will ship at a 2 pound rate when properly packaged.
