Even though there is still visible corrosion on the cleaner, it will continue to clean and buff the pin connector. HOW IT WORKS The Console Cleaner uses a micro-abrasive material. It will remove corrosion from the contacts but not any metal. ADDITIONAL INFO A clean console is just as important as clean games. If your pin connector located inside your console is dirty, grimy, or corroded, use this before inserting games. This console cleaner is brand new made from all new parts.
