If you decide to order a fish from me, it will be original. Example; you and 5 friends make a order, 1 fish each and they are all trout. Not one of them will look the same.. shape or the way they were carved. Like people are unique, so are the products you buy from me. All hand painted, no stencils, no BS.. These are handmade by a U.S. Army Veteran. Made in Idaho.. Unique signature, oil paints, and serial numbered. Made from Cedar, barn wood, or other restorative wood used for carving and bringing a decorative work of art to your cabin, home, or office, to your world for show or decoration.
2022: I put heart in every carving I do so that no one has a identical fish. The pattern may be similar but when shaping and sanding each fish never is the same and that"s the same for painting. The wood and the pores of the wood are different and the tones change on each fish. This gives clarity and uniqueness and cannot be matched by anyone else's art. Like 1000's of satisfied customer's that I have sold to, I sign them and encourage you to take advantage of real, handmade art. Carving's are produced the traditional way with hand tools and not machined or stenciled, textured. Even the materials are handmade like the wood is restorative, explaining of fir, pine, redwood, cedar and each piece is authentic of my work to share with those that love fishing and trout.

Carvings are serial numbered and signed by artist along with date that it was carved. Absolutely look realistic, oil painted and talked highly by others.
Taxidermist cost are way more than what you'll pay here. Also, if you have a picture of a fish you caught. I can carve your fish, paint it per the picture and we can discuss pricing.
