Vintage Black Cherub Baby Angel in Gold Fabric Robes with Music Scroll Original by Clothtique

 

This delightful Possible Dreams Clothtique African American Black Baby Cherub Angel is dressed in a Gold Fabric Robe with Scroll Ornament - bringing you good tidings of joy!

In the late 1980s we went in search of Black angels for a customer that could find none. This is what we found.

This sweet faced cherub angel dressed in gold robes treated with the Clothtique method of sculpted cloth. No two are alike. The robes & scroll are NOT in a synthetic or paper mache, but REAL cloth with the texture and thickness of cotton canvas. Sadly, they are no longer in production due to cost. They're beautiful - a true heirloom..

They were manufactured and designed by Possible Dreams, Inc. in the early 1990s and were made with 3 different color robes - gold, white and red. Again, no longer manufactured.

Materials: Antiqued White scroll and Gold Cloth robes with green and gold bric-a-brac belt. Plastic body including head legs and arms. Hand painted facial features. Textured green plastic wreath with red holly crowns the cherub's head.

Dimensions:

The Cherub (in the flying position) is 5 " inches [12.7cm] in length x 3 " inches [7.62cm] in height x 2 1/ " inches [6.35cm] in width.

Condition: Pristine. Old New store stock. Heirloom quality. The perfect holiday gift. Lightweight. Can hang or sit among the branches. Ships with its original brass hangtag. ref: C_angel_01
