Here is where sellers can list any catch-all policies about their booth. If any of this information is essential to the buying process, the seller will also mention that within their item description -- so don't sweat it if you don't make a habit of looking at the details for every booth!

Booth overview

This is my little shop on the ’Net devoted to providing owners and enthusiasts with the dealership and advertising materials they desire for their cars, as well as an assortment of other collectible items!

The majority of my inventory is US-market sales literature from the 1970s to 2015, with a special focus on Asian and European import sales brochures. Most of my items are in great showroom condition (except where noted, see details below), just like they would have been found at the dealership when the vehicle was purchased!

I ship most general merchandise (toys/plush, decor and household items) via USPS First Class or Priority Mail. Books, magazines and brochures under 8 ounces may also ship via USPS First Class Mail, but most will ship via USPS Media Mail. Please inquire for International shipping rates and availability.

COMBINED SHIPPING DISCOUNTS!!!! When more than one item is purchased through the site, you pay shipping for the first item, and then just $1.00 FOR EACH ADDITIONAL ITEM! Such a deal! And some items now offer FREE shipping!

Because I feel my descriptions are fairly detailed and very accurate, I generally do not accept returns or give refunds for items purchased through Bonanza unless contacted by buyer within 5 days of USPS delivery confirmation.

Miscellaneous details

AUTO LITERATURE DEFINITIONS *

Below you will find definitions of the terms used to categorize and describe automobile literature. You may find it useful to refer to this while browsing our store’s inventory.

SHEET: a sheet as specified here is a single sheet, either regular paper or card stock, that can be printed on one side or both sides, and size can vary anywhere between postcard size to about 8.5"x 11" in size.

FOLDER/FOLDOUT CATALOG: unfolds like a road map. It can unfold once or several times and the size can vary up to a large poster size.

CATALOG: has pages and staples in it (unless it is glue-bound or hardcover, which will be specified in the listing) and opens like a book. The number of pages will vary. If the overall size is unusually large or small, it will be specified. The word “Prestige” is used to describe a more lavish catalog, the largest one issued for the year. A folder or a catalog will show at least some, if not all, of the following: beautiful illustrations of all models if full line, or close up views, features, options, accessories, engines, colors and specifications.

ACCESSORY CATALOG: will thoroughly describe and illustrate all accessories for the model or year.

OWNER’S MANUAL: this is the booklet that comes with all new cars and is kept in the glovebox. It contains much useful information, such as maintenance and complete operation of the car.

PAINT CHIPS FOLDER: will accurately depict the colors available for the model year.

AUTO LITERATURE CONDITION NOTES *

The Auto Literature collectibles field has developed a grading system for item condition that is similar to that used in other collectible fields. I have modified it somewhat and these are the definitions utilized within my listings:

EXCELLENT: Nearly mint condition, as was originally found in the showroom rack. May show minimal wear at cover corners or edges. Minor off-setting or other printing anomalies may be apparent.

GREAT: May show light wear at cover corners, edges or spine, and/or minimal evidence of handling. No tears, stains, loose pages or moisture damage. Normal aging or slight discoloration of the paper may be apparent. Dealer stamp is the only inscription or marking allowed at this grade (but would be noted in the auction details). The majority of my items for sale fall into this category.

VERY GOOD: Shows some signs of use: moderate cover wear, light folds or surface handing, small dog-ears to page corners, very light cover soil or light seam bends in spine. ‘Very Good’ items are in every way presentable; too may signs of use, although minor in themselves, will relegate the item to the ‘Good’ classification.

GOOD: Complete, but may show moderate handling and/or wear. Some minor moisture damage or light stains are permitted, as are small tears, inscriptions, light creases, and some cover soil (any of which would be noted in the auction details).

FAIR: The lowest presentable and collectible classification. Complete and readable, but with significant flaws and/or defacement such as large tears, significant stains/soiling, wear holes. Missing or cut pages are acceptable in rare cases (but would be noted in the auction details).

Auto literature in less than “Fair” condition is generally only collectible if very scarce. THANK YOU for reading!
