Booth Details, Discounts, and Policies  Return to booth

Here is where sellers can list any catch-all policies about their booth. If any of this information is essential to the buying process, the seller will also mention that within their item description -- so don't sweat it if you don't make a habit of looking at the details for every booth!

Booth overview

I am a senior citizen that will soon have to move from my current home to a small trailer. I find that I cannot bring along any of the 2 passions in my life (besides my kids and grand kids); my books and sewing fabric. And over the past 70 years, I have accumulated a wealth of both; terrific books to read (I read the “Greats” alphabetically) as well as beautiful fabric. I did craft fairs for over 30 years, hoisting up my 10 × 10 and thoroughly enjoying women paying money for an item I enjoyed making. I like to think it was a win/win. Now I have all of this fabric (some that you have never seen because it’s probably older than you are) bought all around the country as I traveled about doing the fairs and will be listing everything; not at what I paid for it (I can’t even remember that!) but priced to be affordable so that women who love to sew but find it difficult finding reasonably-priced fabric can own top quality goods at bargain basement prices. I bought only quality fabric (Hoffman, Marcus Bros., South Sea, Michael Miller, VIP, Benartex) from the best fabric stores, never Wal-Mart or others like that. It might sound corny but I simply want to place my books and fabric in good homes to be appreciated and enjoyed as I have done with them. I also have other items in the sewing line other than fabric such as lace and other trim, sewing books and kits. I have lots of children’s fabric I have yet to put out there. As I mentioned, I am an older woman and don’t do Facebook or any other of those “things” as I don’t understand them very well. My son provides me with a smart phone that bewilders me; it has taken me months just to conquer the basics. But I do have email that I am proficient in and use every day if any customer needs to contact me with a question. I look forward to interacting with other quilters of America.

Return policy

Refunds available: See booth/item description for details

I am always open to hearing any complaints from a customer. I try and describe with words and photos the exact product but know that sometimes what customer receives is absolutely not what they thought they were buying (for whatever reason). I will happily negotiate with them for either a return or a refund or a swap depending on what kind of sale is involved. My email is always available and I go into it often during the day. Miscellaneous details

I promise to ship as economically as possible. I find USPS first class to be the best and most efficient. And if a customer wants only 1 or 2 yards of fabric, this is the best way for both of us. However, I am listing bolts of fabric so that if a customer wants 5 yards, for example, this now weighs too much to go first class and will have to go priority which costs more. I have found that if the purchase is 3-5 yards, I can fit it into the $7.00 priority mailer. I find calculating shipping difficult because you have no idea of final weight or what zone the customer lives in. I will do my best, however, and do not intend ever to try and make money from shipping but charge only the actual cost. Often I ship free because I know what the actual item listing weighs and can calculate close enough to know what it will cost me in the end. Also, this is negotiable if customer buys several item listings from me and asks for a combined shipping discount.
